The Gwanak-Gu Residential Park project seeks to transform an underutilized area between residential buildings in Seoul’s Gwanak-Gu district into a welcoming community space. Conceived as both a green retreat and a neighborhood gathering point, the site offers opportunities for rest, play, and connection among residents. The future park holds potential for shaded sitting areas, walking paths, and open green zones that encourage daily use and foster social interaction. By introducing accessible nature and shared spaces into the heart of a dense housing environment, the project aims to strengthen community ties and enhance the overall quality of urban living in Gwanak-Gu.

I propose building a small, accessible stadium for community sports and events. This would provide a dedicated space for recreation and foster a stronger sense of togetherness.

This proposal envisions transforming underused land into an urban adult leisure park. A central feature is a large, graffiti-covered inflatable clown bouncy house, complemented by a unique autoscooter arena constructed from damaged cars. The space is designed for dynamic energy and interactive experiences.

I propose a 'Maekju Temple' designed in a traditional Korean style. This unique space will be a gathering spot for adults to enjoy alcoholic beverages like beer and soju in a relaxed, communal atmosphere.

This idea proposes a vibrant sports park featuring tennis courts, a football field, and a skate park. It aims to create a dynamic space for physical activity and community engagement within the residential park.

I envision a large water fountain with playful dolphin sculptures and a separate, substantial water container featuring a majestic orca. These elements would bring a captivating aquatic theme to the park, offering a unique visual spectacle and a focal point for community enjoyment.

I propose a diagonal pathway through the park, with dedicated cycling lanes on both sides. Tree planting will provide summer shade, complemented by a diverse flower garden on one side and a relaxation area with a water feature and public toilet on the other.
