Planned as one of Munich’s major northern expansion areas, Lerchenauer Feld is being developed through a comprehensive urban planning process that brings together housing, social infrastructure, and public open space within a shared neighborhood framework. The site spans approximately 23 hectares and is intended to evolve into a new urban quarter over an extended period of time. Realized in multiple phases, Lerchenauer Feld represents an ongoing transformation rather than a finished condition. As such, it offers a platform for civic dialogue on how new urban areas take shape, how open spaces are defined over time, and how planning decisions interact with lived experience.

Proposing a new residential block system within Lerchenauer Feld, featuring modern, green, and lightly futuristic architecture. The shared spaces around these blocks will be dedicated to sports and recreation, fostering an active lifestyle for residents and integrating seamlessly with the sustainable urban quarter.

This proposal introduces a sustainable residential block integrated with nature, featuring a children's playground and a dedicated cycling route with trees. It also includes five versatile public spaces designed for community life, such as shared vegetable gardens, ensuring inclusivity for all ages.
